Will make this time simple. Too lazy to write haha.
Waited for some heritage trail walk in the morning. Met the tourist guide and started the trail after chatting for awhile. Started from railway station and ended at concubine lane. Learnt quite a lot. Certain interesting heritages would be Concubine lane and the J.W.W. Birch British monument.
Got a free ride all the way to Perak Tong cave/temple and visited the place. Just for fun:
Perak Tong (hill) – Start: 1020, Reached: 1040, End: 1100, Duration: 40 minutes
Just some simple staircase walkway but since I kept record of the timing, might as well write it down.
Continued towards Gunung Lang Recreational Park on the way to Ipoh from Perak Tong. A nice place.
On the way to Ipoh town, saw signboards leading to Cave of Happiness (Fook Bou Tong – if I remembered correctly). Just a minor attraction that many won’t bother.
Reached Ipoh town and visited Darul Ridzuan Museum. Had lunch and went completely ‘broke’ again. Headed over to Bougainvillea Park and D.R. Seevinasagam Park. Found out about Ipoh – Japan town relationship. Nice Japanese Garden (at D.R. Park).
Visited many other places along my walk that I might’ve forgotten. Can’t be remembering everything as Ipoh is full with many things.
Got free food for tea time and headed over to a second Japanese Garden located at the outskirts of town. Still nice although it was pretty dim because night was approaching (maybe it’s considered night already).
Walked pass Greentown and saw many things and many things happened afterwards. Ended up sleeping in a Church centre kind of building located near railway station (forgot church name).
Sorry for the poor writing this time. Travelling like this makes it difficult to do some things.
